FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND

One night I dreamed I was walking
along the beach with the lord,
d. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints.
Other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed that
During the low periods of my life when I was
Suffering from anguish, sorrow, or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints,
So I said to the Lord, "You promised me,
Lord, that if I followed You,
You would walk with me always.
But I noticed that during the most trying periods
Of my life there have only been
One set of prints in the sand.
Why, When I have needed You most,
You have not been there for me?"
The Lord replied,
"The times when you have seen only one set of footprints
Is when I carried you."

so whats it all about?
sometimes, at the hardest parts of our lives it seems like we are totally alone and that even God seems to abandon us. This shows that although it may seem that God has left us he is really carrying us. It may not seem like it at the time but i you look back at a time in your life that you felt like everything was to much i sure most of you would be able to see how you came through that situation. Ok it may not have been a great time but God can get you through anything, but to do this he needs you to ask him to help and you can do this through prayer.

6 On my bed I remember you;
I think of you through the watches of the night.
7 Because you are my help,
I sing in the shadow of your wings.

your right hand upholds me.

a prayer:
God, when im alone and feel like theres no ascape from my problems please help, i know that your bigger than everything and can get me out of impossible situations, im relying on you to carry me through the hard times.
amen!!
